“This is a real accomplishment for me, especially with everything else happening in my life right now. I am proud of the OPM crew for working hard all week and not giving up on setup changes - we were a little off at the beginning of the weekend and we made changes every time we went on track. The guys worked hard in the tech shed as well - by the end of the weekend the Kinetic-Sunbelt motor was completely disassembled, inspected, and returned in a box - proving that it can all be done with a legal car” commented Lamb.
Hawk, Toyo, Mazda, Grassroots Motorsports, and East Street Auto all contributed to Lamb’s success as well as the prize money. Lamb’s car will appear in the Grassroots calendar “posing” as Miss October. In addition, with the championship, he earns an invite to Mazda’s MX-5 Cup shootout for a possible ride in 2008.
